Unit 12 takes a close look at speaking and writing skills. It also covers techniques and activities that can help implementing the productive skills during the lesson. Personally, I found the examples of accuracy and fluency based activities very helpful for understanding how to encourage students to participate in the classroom and how to make the lessons more successful.This unit was both interesting and informative. I appreciated the review of the ESA teaching method in this unit. I also liked that the unit provided descriptions of alternative teaching methods that have been used throughout history. The roles of the teacher in teaching adults differs greatly from teaching children and I feel more prepared to teach adults after this unit.
