In Unit 18 I learned ways I can teach students about modals such as could, would, may, and might. Before reading this unit I was a bit intimidated by the idea of teaching these words because the differences seemed difficult to explain to students so I would have just repeatedly given examples. It is good to now know the rules and have the material at my hands in case I plan to teach these to students.This unit was so exciting! I am thrilled with the amount of lesson plan ideas, and the order of the class lesson itself. Being a teacher for 35 years, I naturally know the general points for a special education set-up, and some of these suggestions for handling class activities are familiar. But the new, fun-filled ideas for the actual 'meat' of the lessons will be an enthusiastic, enjoyable endeavor!
