In this section, I learned about the past tense including the past simple (example, I worked), the past continuous (example, I was working), the past perfect (example, I had worked) and the past perfect continuous (I had been working). I also learned how some verbs are irregular and don't always end in \"ed\" for example the past simple of buy is not buyed but bought instead.Past tenses, past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous are often needed in writing exercises and story telling activities. While some are more advanced than others, most students that are confortable using all present tenses can use the past tenses, given that they have similar structure. I found the section on common mistakes/errors very helpful.
