The impact of the teacher's attitude makes more of a difference than I initially thought it would be. Sometimes this may not seem as evident to the teacher, but the students pick up and notice this. This really does help set the atmosphere for the classroom. Students are far more likely to retain the information the more engaged they are and this is the responsibility and goal of the teacher.This unit covered the basics of future tense, perhaps the most difficult tense in the English language to grasp. This unit revealed new concepts to me that I wasn't even aware of as a native speaker (such as the \"going to\" tense, or that present tense could be used with future intention). I particularly enjoyed the presentation of all the tenses with examples at the beginning of the unit.
