This lesson is essential for new teachers. It makes us aware of the potential problems that could arise. Also, it makes us think more about the class room rather than the information that is being taught. I think that is important because we do not want to just cover material. Students need to be able to understand clearly what is being taught. This means that the teacher must present the material according to their classroom.This is defenitely a subject that needs lots of practise speech. Breaking down the individual sounds enably us to listen to the pronunciation. Class room tricks can be to ask the students to speak slower but using the normal sound breakdowns is easier for the studnet to recognise ris & fall in the speach patterns. With a deaf son I speak slower & allow the mouth to shape the words. This is also a technique to use for this unit
