Before I took this lesson i was unfamiliar with all the parts of speech. I think after completing this unit i have become more aware and understand the various parts of speech for sentence structure. Understanding speech and its structure is crucial when teach others grammar. In the future, I can tell others with confidence examples of the different parts of speech.The is a probably the most difficult of all as it is the first time I was exposed to the phonemic system. I understand now why some teacher don't approach it as it takes a complete understanding of a multitude of parameters, especially the table. But one thing is for sure, I will try my best to introduce it to my students when the time is right. It is truly essential.
