I've never liked group work for myself, but this unit helped me to see the different advantages to it and why teachers use it.There are four basic skills in English - receptive and productive. The receptive skills are listening and reading, both are very important for a learner, they help understand what's going on around them. teacher should carefully select the texts for teaching purposes. the texts for lower levels should be adapted, the text for higher level students can be taken fro authentic books and newspapers.
