This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered past tenses which includes: past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. I learned the reasoning behind each of these tenses and when they should be used. I would normally know which tense to use because English is my native language, but approaching it from a grammar perspective helped me understand why students can be confused by the different tenses.During this unit, I was given a visual example of what a successful class and a non successful class would look like based on the material I have already learned. I found this unity particularly useful because I am a visual learner and enjoyed seeing the concepts I had learned being animated in the form of a video. It was also great to see the difference that a simple smile can have on a classroom!
