This unit mainly talks about how to teach students effectively based on different situations. If teachers are the first time to meet their students, so the first step is to establish rapport with students and then know students's desire and level of english. For some reluctant students, teachers can use role-play or pair work or give them enough time to practice. When teachers teach listening, teachers must be patient and get ready to play the tape several times until most of students can understand, but for weak students, teachers can let strong students help them. During the class, students have to avoid using their native language, so teachers have to make rules clear enough and do not respond if they speak their native language.
