In Unit 4 I learnt of the different types of materials and resources available to teachers and the need for a well structured and documented lesson plan. The materials can either be outsourced via the many resources available on the internet, in newspapers and magazines, approved internal departments or from trusted established companies. When the material is well structured and properly sourced and when used correctly by the teacher it has a positive and engaging effect on the class and students. Equally important is the need to formulate this material into a workable, structured and informative Lesson Plan. I found the example Lesson Plan provided to be very useful and hopefully will be adapting the format into any future lessons.
