This unit proved to be even more difficult than the unit on future tenses for me. I never think about the mechanics of what I say, and now I am being forced to. I most certainly needed this lesson to act as both a guide and a mirror. The guide so that I can learn this information in a way that is easy to understand, and the mirror to show me how ignorant I can be of my own native language.This unit was a little intimidating. It has been years since I have thought of a tense and how they are used. I never realized there are four aspects of the tense and their usage. After being frustrated trying to get the form and the usage down, I watched the video which helped. I appreciate the ideas for the activation part of the learning. I need to start collecting these ideas now.
