In this unit I learnt about different methods of teaching ESL, including the more traditional grammar-translation method, the nowadays less popular audio-lingual method, PPP, TBL, the communicate approach and others. The unit gave me a better understanding of how these methods are used in the classroom, and what activities can be conducted at different stages of a lesson.this unit was about how I could be able to plan a lesson when I become a teacher. planning lesson is very helpful for the teacher because she or he will be able to know what they will talk about in the class and how to let the students achieve the object of the lesson, by bringing aims and material. I really like this unit because I know now how to do an organized lesson.
