In this unit, I have learned about the modals, phrasal verbs, relative clauses and passive voice. Modals can be used to express different ideas such as obligation, possibility, ability, permission, advice, etc. I have also learned from this unit some teaching ideas and activities that can be used when teaching modals. I also learned that Phrasal verbs are multi-word verbs that operate as one.Unit 6 is about past tenses. It covers the usage, form and common mistakes/errors and sample activate teaching ideas in each category with examples. I find this unit very helpful in understanding the subtle differences of the usages and forms. I sometimes find it difficult to explain the past perfect tense but with the simple explanation in this unit, I think I can do it way easier this time.
