This unit covered different kinds of evaluation and testing that can be used in class. It detailed the differences between placement testing, regular progress testing, practice tests, and external exams. I learned that testing has multiple purposes, not just to grade how well the students have learned, but to also see what their comfort levels are and what area need to be focused on more in the future.This unit explains the present tense element of English grammar.
I found this module very challenging, but rewarding at the same time. I feel that I have gained a great deal of understanding from this unit which will hold me in good stead for teaching students in the future. As in previous modules, the breaking-down of the grammatical structure and rules allowed the concepts to be more readily grasped.
