Unit 5 has refreshed my memory in many characteristics and key details to managing a classroom. The way the classroom is set up and the environment we as teachers establish will be greatly impact how the class is managed. We can use a variety of seating, communication, and lesson activities techniques to establish good rapport with students, make the classroom a safe learning environment, as well as productive to their language development.This unit covered the multiple ways to assess students' language levels. Tutorials can be versatile because they can take place with groups of students or individuals. It is often helpful to allow the students to evaluate the course, to give the teacher a different perspective. Tests are the most obvious way to test students progress and abilities.
