This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
I learned the basics of \"past tenses\" all over again. It's refreshing to review it now as an adult vs when I was much younger. I still find it a bit confusing in terms of identifying the tense according to the sentences (I just know in my head what sounds right) so to apply the rule as to why I am doing it, is a challenge. This lesson, in particular the video really helped to clarify it.In Unit 13, I learned about teaching pronunciation and phonolgy. I reveiwed innotation, stress, sound joining, linked speech, the phonemic alphabet, phonemic symbols, articulation, when to teach pronunciation, and different teaching techniques for the pronunciation of individual sounds. After reveiwng this unit, I feel I have a better understanding of how to teach pronunciation and phonology.
