Phonology is the study and classification of sounds we make to form languages. Rhythm, stress and intonation are all crucial elements to understanding speech sounds. Intonation is variation of sound in a sentence and stress deals with particular words. The phonetic alphabet is used internationally to help pronounce words in the dictionary, and is useful to both teachers and students to learn.Unit 13: Teaching Pronunciation & Phonology was a very challenging unit.
