in this unit, not only have i learned about teaching new language which include vocabulary, grammar and functions i noticed that this unit is also connected to unit 3 that talks about the theories, methods and techniques in teaching a new language. i learned that as a teacher, taking considerations on certain factors before teaching new vocabularies and grammars matter a lot.It's important to know the difference between vocabulary, language function and grammar when planning lessons. What I need to think about before teaching new vocabulary is different from the purpose of my teaching grammar. While obviously all three functions are important to understand and use a new language, I have to remember to teach each component in its proper context.
