In a Unit which is called ?Teaching new language? was considered how to introduce new vocabulary, grammar and functions of the English language. In order to do it effectively we have to apply ESA methods. Lessons which are targeted to grammar or vocabulary commonly use ?strait arrow? ESA approach. As for functions-based lessons, they are commonly approached with ?boomerang? or ?patchwork? ESA structures.This unit was about teaching special groups and what i have understood from this unit is that every learner has their different needs when it comes to learning. Especially teaching absolute beginner can not be same as teaching a normal beginner. There fore the unit has shown different tips and strategies to teach different groups of students or learners in most effective way to support their learning of another language.
