Unit 9 was a unit which talked about lesson planning. This unit shows you the basic principles on how your lesson should be written down. This unit shows you how to make your lesson organized and tells the reader what you should include in your lesson, to have a successful class. I enjoyed the fact that they give you an option to write your own lesson in this unit. I feel it was the closes thing to hands on training in this course.I have learned of the various parts of speech in the English language, consisting of the basic parts understood as noun, verbs, function words, adjectives, adverbs etc. Knowing these parts of speech is incredibly important for understanding basic english grammar and how to teach it to ESL students. Moving forward, I will have to be able to identify the various parts of speech and recognize complexities in teaching them to students.
