This unit is quite simple especially that I have learned about making lesson plans in the 120-hour TEFL Course. However this unit gives me more knowledge about preparing for materials used for students as well as choosing resources. I think it is crucial that every teacher needs to know how to make a lesson plan and to be able to choose the most suitable materials for their students.There are basically four things that a student needs to be able to do when learning new language: 1. be exposed to it, 2. understand its meaning, 3. understand how it's constructed, and 4. have the ability to practice and produce it. A teach must be able to decide which ESA approach is needed, depending on the basis of the new language, whether it's vocabulary, grammar or function.
