This unit discussed different elements of classroom management that one can encounter in an ESL class. It went into detail regarding classroom organization, discipline, student vs. teacher talk time, whole class work vs. pair work, group work, or individual work, and other things. I found this unit enlightening as I think about how to best encourage and engage my students to do their best work and learn most efficiently.In this unit, it covered classroom management. Such as, pros and cons when grouping the students, to classroom arrangement, to the teachers position in the classroom, whether it be writing on the board or gesturing and giving eye contact. Again, i found this unit helpful because it has made me more self aware when it comes to my position in the classroom as well as my students and what can benefit both sides in a lesson.
