This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
For this unit, I first thought it would be just as short and easy as the last lesson. This was not the case. It seems more goes into productive skills than receptive skills. Not that productive skills are better, but just more work. I guess I can understand this. Often I find that people can recognize words, and read faster than they can speak or write. That is if they are learning the language in a classroom, of course.I have learned about several theories and especially ESA theory totally changed my view of the lessons from typical Korean style lessons focusing only on study stage to balance mixed stages. I will mix three steps well based on ESA lesson structure to make my students acquire language efficiently when I back to Korea and start teaching. Also, I would keep in mind other theories aswell and apply them to my future lessons.
