This unit is focused on evaluation and testing. A teacher can assess a student's process in various ways, the following are the most common: tutorials, evaluation by the students and tests. The latter can be divided into: placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests and general external examination tests (these tests specifically also include the well renowned Cambridge Assessment tests).This unit discusses the various types of teaching aides and equipment that can be utilised in the classroom. It also provides links to several websites that can be used to supplement a lesson. In this unit I learned about Interactive Whiteboards. I have never seen one before, nor was I aware of their existence. This kind of technology as described, seems to be the way of the future where teaching is concerned.
