In this unit I studied lesson planning. I learnt that most teachers will either make notes, or complete lesson plan forms. I also leant that the writing of lesson plans has a number of important functions. One of these functions is keeping a record of what the class has studied already, because you may not actually remember having already covered a topic a few months back.Since my initial TESL experience occurred without the use of a text and other written teaching materials, it was an encouragement to find that there are text materials that have been prepared to aid me in TESL. The use of authentic and created materials will enable me to have great freedom in designing a course that will adapt to my talents and benefit my particular class.
