This unit complimented and tested previously attained knowledge regarding the ESA structure. In this unit, I further developed my understanding of the types of activities which may be used at any given stage of a lesson.
I feel I have a better understanding of how a lesson may be structured and how a lesson can be planned. It was also highlighted in the unit that it is important to be fully prepared for a lesson, and flexible with how a lesson may develop depending on the student's engagement and enjoyment. For example, it may be necessary to draw out a particular aspect of the lesson if it is going well. This also means that it is important to plan accordingly and be flexible with future lessons as well as within individual lessons.
