This unit looking at grammar was a little difficult to get my head around because as a native english speaker i cannot remember learning the grammar at school, we just did it naturally! But for me starting to learn grammar is a good and necessary skill to have and would make the teacher and students classes much more enjoyable. The parts of speech is great because it shows the roles which the words in the sentence are for. Ä° think there are so many things to remember regarding grammar and could take many years to too! Ä°n my opinion the only way is after learning grammar Ä° would to be very thorough and go over what you've learnt repeatedly until finally it sinks in. Of course working in the classroom would help with this too!
