This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 5 focuses on how to manage a classroom, from how to act and position ourselves as teachers to how to organise our classroom according to our needs. I think that learning about how to build was the most useful part of this unit. Having a good rapport with the students puts together many aspects of teaching, and simply managing a class. by having a good relationship with our students, it becomes easier to make lesson plans that are more fitted to the students' needs. Especially when teaching abroad, building a good relationship with the students becomes even more important as the there isn't only a language gap, but also a cultural one. It's important to make the students feel confortable, to have their trust, and to have their respect.
