This unit covered modal auxiliary verbs. They express different ideas, such as: deduction, prohibition, offer, ability etc. However, each model verb can express more than one idea. We learned how and when they are used. We also examined the passive voice and saw how we can transform a phrase from the active voice to the passive voice. We also took a brief look at the relative clauses and phrasal verbs.This unit simply covered potential problems an EFL teacher will face in the classroom and offers tips on how to troubleshoot those problems. What I found most helpful in this unit is the guidelines to your first class. Previously, I would anticipate only the problems I may have with gaining rapport with the students. I hardly envisioned that the students may also not have any rapport amongst the group.
