This unit discusses different verb past tenses - the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. All continuous forms feature the verb plus adding 'ing'. All perfect forms contain some form of the verb 'to have' and the past participle form of the verb. All past perfect continuous forms contain some form of the verb 'to have' plus 'been' while also adding 'ing' to the verb. This unit looked at more grammar. I learned about modal verbs, passive voice, relative clauses, and phrasal verbs. Modal verbs deal with a lot of things such as probability, requests, and ability. Passive voice is mainly used to take emphasize away from the agent of an action or to avoid stating it at all. Relative clauses help describe nouns. Phrasal verbs are verbs that require one or more particles.
