Also, it guided on how the test items can be constructed from the less difficult to the more difficult and i believe that is right because i have written some exams where the more difficult question actually began and the less difficult ones where at the last pages of the examination script.This unit lays emphasis on how to teach pronunciation and phonology. It clearly explains the major aspects of phonology which are stress, rhythm and intonation. It gives techniques and details on these aspects.After reading this unit i learnt how to transcribe. Transcription has always been one of my most difficult parts in studying and teaching English. I feel satisfied coming across this aspect in the course of reading this unit.
