This unit explored the specifics of two aspects of English grammar, the fine details of which, while relatively simple to use intuitively, can be tricky even for natives to keep in their minds. These are conditionals (which allow the speaker to express possibilities using words like \"if\" and \"when\") and reported speech (which expresses the speech of another person, as opposed to direct speech, which is spoken in first person).leaarnt a lot about control in the classrooms, how to build rapport and respect with the students and amongst students, different group work formations and how they effect the class. I also learnt about how to use various gestures, eye contact and the volume level and tone of my voice to help my ability to teach. this unit was interesting because it brings up information about areas I would not have thought about having to control.
