In this unit we covered the basics of what to consider when teaching new language points with regards to vocabulary, grammar and language functions. Prepared lessons should use what is applicable to the level. Usually lower levels will require more teacher made material. The use of course books has the benefit of being graded and having practice lessons already prepared. Course books assists in keeping to targets, yet do not have to be used.
