This was a great refresher on the definitions of past tenses. I got a lot out of the teaching ideas in the video. I can't always picture what the activity is like when reading the notes. In the video it showed clear examples of things to do. I plan on using most of them in my grammar 1 class. We use a book for the study phase but I do struggle with fun activities for the activate stage. They are just primary 1 and 2 students, so all of these games that have pictures and cards are really helpful. I especially likes the one where you have cut cards face down and you let students take one and flip it over, then make sentences. It adds a nice element of hands on. Kids like touching and playing with things, and this adds the suspense of a surprise.
