In this unit, I got to learn how to teach new language to students, which is important to know what can and can't be done when teaching vocabulary, grammar structure and language function to the students. Through this lesson I also learn how to apply ESA Straight Arrow, Patchwork and Boomerang to make it more effective. Teaching new language itself is divided into 3 parts, vocabulary, grammar structure and language function. Teaching vocabulary is important to the students, especially in how to acquire the vocabulary. While grammar structures are determined by the level of the class, which means we should be able to adjust and adapt to the level of the class. Lastly, teaching language functions will emphasize on the activation of the language.
