Going over the parts of speech was very valuable to me. I found that I had forgotten some parts of speech like gerunds and the three different kinds of verbs (transitive verbs, intransitive verbs, and infinitives). After i looked over the written notes on the different parts of speech I watched the tutor video to get an idea of how to explain and teach this information. That is the tricky part, being comfortable with the explanations and having examples prepared in your mind. I think that was biggest help. I found the task sheet was a great review tool. Especially the fourth task where I have to pretend I'm in the classroom teaching a student. That made me think about what language to use to make my explanation clear and easy to digest.
