This unit defines the 4 forms of present tense ie present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. It also helps to identify the usage of each form. Simple present applies to habitual / routine actions,permanent situations, commentaries, directions, instructions, newspaper headlines, present stories and historical events. Present continuous will have the subject followed by verb \"be\" and verb ending with \"ing'. Present perfect will have the subject followed by verb \"have/has\" and verb part participate. Lastly present perferct continuous will have subject followed by \"have/has\" and word \"been\" and verb ending with \"ing\".
This method makes it easier to remember the usage of the presents tenses.
