Unit 11 covered receptive skills such as reading and listening along with how to teach and strengthen these skills in the classroom. The ESA lesson examples about interviews used throughout the unit were very helpful in showcasing the use of the skills required and also very versatile and can b used with c]almost any celebrity. The written unit had various worksheet examples of comparisons and language that could be used while the video showcased some games. The games, personally, seemed much more effective in honing listening and reading skills than the worksheets did, however that is just in theory. This unit was quite comprehensive, splitting up the productive skills and the receptive skills to make it less overwhelming and easier to absorb.
