This article dealt specifically with present tense. I learned that there were 3 main tenses in English (past, present, future) and 4 further ways to use each of those tenses (simple, perfective, continuous, perfect continunous). Simple describes routines, perfective describes past actions with present consequences, continuous describes actions in progress, and perfect continuous describes how long an ongoing activity has been occurring.Lesson plans are important documents because they help to keep the record of the teaching, they help to plan the time spent on every activity and they help to see the process clearly. The lesson plans should be clear and simple, with all the steps listed and the time planned for each activity written clearly. It is important to follow the plan but a teacher should always remember to be flexible and act according to classroom situations.
