A good teacher must think and be able to evaluate what are the students' needs and learning styles must be able to apply his/her teaching style or teaching role to adapt to every situation. For example, if the teacher has very shy or low motivated students she/he might use the role as the prompter to encourage students more to talk, during class or group activities. However, if she/he has highly motivated or intermediate type of students, the teacher can act as a facilitator or a monitor to keep the smooth flow of communication, with less interference and be noting for students progress and areas that need improvement. In summary, the teacher should always be open-minded and flexible in every situation, to help students become effective learners.
