This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 8 deals mainly with the various future tenses. In this lesson, most of the information was unsurprising, but I learned a great deal from the comparisons of predictive vs. definite functions in terms of usage. Though determining if something is a prediction or indefinite is clear through an example, it's difficult to produce which tense would be used in a predictive, indefinite, or definite situation without anything to reference. I was also surprised by the appearance of the present tenses at the end of the lesson. Again, it makes perfect sense given the examples, but if heretofore asked to provide non-future tenses that function as future tenses, I would have had no idea. It complicates things for sure, but this is valuable information.
