It is important as a teacher to recognize the basic formations of teaching styles, and to utilize them throughout a class, these include instructive/lecture, participation, prompting, facilitative, modeling etc., it is also important to recognize how to make the classroom more productive and comfortable for the students. The differences in the students age, motivation, native language and cultures are also very important. A good teacher will be sensitive to the individual students and adapt appropriately to the setting of each classroom and the students' learning needs.
