This unit focused on teachers (their roles and characteristics) and learners (their roles and characteristics). Explanations of learners' language levels (from Beginners to Advanced) (European A1-C2) as well as the video presentation of the young learners and adults' motivation, experience, and behavior were highlighted. What did I learn from this unit? I believe it takes a great deal of knowledge beyond the knowledge of the English language to be a \"good\" teacher. A teacher loves to teach, and, if the teacher does love to teach (as I always have), the student will gain motivation. However, many other factors must take place (the teacher's understanding of the students' backgrounds) to properly motivate a student to learn. A very interesting unit.
