Unit 8 rounds out the tense structure of the English language with future tense, having previously explored present and past tenses. This unit identifies usages as well as common mistakes and/or errors of the seven most common tense structures. Additionally, as with the previous two tense units, teaching activity ideas are provided to help instructors find ways to engage students throughout the ESA process. As I anticipate is normal for most native speakers, I take for granted that I use proper grammar when articulating tense structure; however, my exam scores show that while I may speak it correctly, I do not necessarily understand the reasoning behind it. This is important to note if I wish to properly and effectively teach the lesson in question.
