This unit has taught me different ways to use tools and equipment. Firstly the benefits of whiteboards and blackboards as well as the disadvantages. Then I read about the IWB and all the activities that this piece of equipment provides. The OHPs are my favorite to use in class, they provide less time with your back to the students and that provides the teacher with more control over her class. Visuals like pictures or objects are essential to a classroom, as well as DVDs and videos. The use of worksheets in class plays a big role in the classroom for they provide a student with a record of work and notes that they will be able to use in the future. The few subjects I mentioned are only the tip of the iceberg, in my case they are the most useful to me.
