In this unit I learned about the relationship between teachers and learners. I also learned about the characteristics of a good teacher and learner. As a teacher there are many roles we can fulfil. Some of these roles can hinder our effectiveness as teachers or increase it. Depending on the needs of our students we may have to adjust our roles as a teacher. For example, if I was teaching a class in a \"manager\" role to beginner students, they may quickly lose learning motivation. However, if I were to teach as an \"organizer\" by presenting low-level hands-on activities for the children, such as songs and games, their learning motivation may increase. With that being said, we must gauge what roles we fulfil as teachers and utilize them appropriately.
