The material of Unit 8 brought back to attention the tenses, specifically the future tenses. The lesson detailed the structures, usages, as well as the typical errors that students can make while learning subject.
It listed seven different tenses used for future meanings, two of which were present continuous and present simple. It was explained that while these two tenses are generally used in present tense, they do have the ability to be applied to future events.
The lesson also provided teaching ideas that we can employ in the future to help us better teach our students, while also keeping the lesson from becoming dull.
This lesson taught me much about the future tenses and how I could apply what I learned when helping my own future students.
