This unit has taught me how to plan lessons in an effective way. I have understood that in order to improve my own teaching and keep track of the students' learning, writing a proper lesson plan may be ideal, at least in the beginning of my teaching career. Evaluating my own teaching is also important to make it more likely to actually improve. Not only planning the lesson itself but also making sure the classroom is ready is important - this part brought me back to when I was the student and the teacher has issues with technology or just simply whiteboard pens that were not working. I feel that for a smooth lesson to be held, various kinds of planning is very much needed. However, it should not be inflexible, as that would likely make it less smooth.
