Unit 4 illustrates the use of materials in the classroom. Specifically, it classifies materials into two which are authentic and non-authentic. Teachers will find it easier to manage non-authentic materials since these are made basing on their students' strengths and weaknesses. Moreover, the unit also explains how important lesson planning is. I comppletely agree to this because it reinforces teachers at times when they are in difficult situation or they are ill. In the lesson planning stage, the unit outlines the ESA method of teaching and how it will create a smooth class. Lastly, the unit also gives information on how to manage young learners by not raising one's voice since it is proven that it is not an effective way to discipline children.
