This unit covered the four present tenses and how to form sentences when using each different tense. This section also gave a little insight into some of the common mistakes students make when learning about present tenses which are pivotal in teaching the subject in the future. From this section, I really began to understand specific uses of each present tense and the many examples in this unit helped my learning. I am now able to recognize the difference between all four tenses and determine which tense a sentence is using. There were also plenty of examples on how to teach the material using the elements of ESA where there is an emphasis on the students using the language amongst each other which is said to be extremely beneficial in their learning.
